School is almost out for summer (it can't come soon enough) and our desired move in date for our new apartment is June 1. The best option for us is to do a 12-month lease (June-June) so that we can move in this summer and move out next year right after graduation!
For the mean time, until all the moving logistics are worked out, I will be collecting inspiration photos and getting serious about designing mood boards for my roommate and myself. I feel so confused though! There are so many conflicting styles in my head. Seems like having all this freedom to decorate however I want is actually more complicated than it originally seemed.

I know you are probably thinking "What? I thought she was going for more of a sleek, modern look." Well, yes I am in some ways, but just bear with me. I am trying to come up with a great design that fits in with the feeling of the apartment, is comfy and warm, doesn't at all look like we used left over dorm room junk, and combines two peoples taste into one space. Phew! I have got my work cut out for me.

LOVE! I'm also going crazy over how my bedroom is going to look and I've been searching through design blog after design blog trying to get inspired. I simply love your ideas for our space and am putting you in full creative control since I just adore how our dorm has looked this year, as has everyone else!! I've pretty much got my room under control (mostly!) and I'm thrilled to finally have a place all our own. I'm even looking forward to doing the dishes without a dishwasher! Anywhoooo, awesome ideas, I envy your fantastic geometric piece, and the end of the semester can't come soon enough!!
